Student Visit to HK-RFID

July 2013

Enthusiastic to cooperate with the HKUST Alumni Association, 30 energetic students and teachers from Fanling Rhenish Church Secondary School enjoyed a tour visit to Hong Kong RFID Ltd. on 20th May 2013. In wish to learn more about technological and R&D based companies’ development in Hong Kong, students were excited to come to our office to experience more.

Welcomed by a company tour to understand more about the operations of Hong Kong RFID, students get a glimpse of how different departments work. The tour was followed by a presentation by our Business Development Director, Mr. Craig Jo. Students were introduced the company’s development in Hong Kong Science Park to the advancement of the product lines through continuous R&D.

Apart from that, Mr. Jo also introduced the newly launched mobile app – Tapogram™, to the students. Excited about this new app, students felt great to know their cell phones’ NFC function could be alive and useful with Tapogram™ and downloaded the app immediately. To let them experience this interesting app, we have provided them some NFC tags to try out right away. Students were inspired and amazed that RFID technology could be fun and very relevant to their daily lives.
