The HSBC Living Business Award 2012 Presentation Ceremony will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 16th November 2012. Hong Kong RFID Ltd. is honored to be awarded “People Caring Award – Certificate of Merit”. The award ceremony is organized by HSBC in recognizing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who manage their business responsibly and sensitively with regard to people, the community and the environment to ensure long-term business success.

As for the People Caring Award, applicants will be judged on five main categories: employee training and development, internal communication, equal opportunities, employee welfare, work-life balance and family-friendly practices. Hong Kong RFID participated in this award for the first time and is pleased to be awarded Certificate of Merit in People Caring. It is recognition of our care to our staff. For long, we have implemented 5-day work week and family-friendly practices such as paternity leave and compassionate leave in order to maintain a work-life balance. Employees with good performance will be recognized and praised, and we encourage employee training and development by offering time-off, study leave and training subsidies. We also set up channels to promote open and transparent communication within the company. The award recognizes all measures we have taken to ensure a pleasant work environment for staff.
