Hong Kong RFID has won the project of implementing the active RFID solution in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). It is the first-ever active RFID application in the convention and exhibition industry. The application will be able to track the X-Y coordinates of the objects carrying the active RFID tags. Locating the object in the centre can serve various purposes. For example, it can provide useful information on the habits about the route which the visitors travel in the site.This will allow the exhibition organizers design the venue to provide a more customized experience for the visitors. This application definitely enhance the service of HKCEC.
Each year, the Centre hosts more than 45 international trade fairs for buyers from more than 100 countries, including the world’s largest leather fair and watch and clock fair. The regular international fairs for giftware, toys, fashion, jewellery, electronics and optical products are Asia’s largest.
