Hong Kong RFID participated in the “Capability Building Programme of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers on the Application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) on Supply Chain Management ”

As the RFID technology is bringing the IT, logistics and manufactory industry to the next revolution, information regarding RFID applicational cases are often highly regarded. Our business development director, Mr. Craig Jo, has delivered a speech “In the Capability Building Programme of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers on the Application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) on Supply Chain Management “, organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council(HKPC).

He shared various applicational cases of RFID in various industries. The logistics of garment manufacturing from manufacturing to distribution center, branch warehouse to front end retail sites was analyzed. Security, document and asset management cases in jewellery shops and hospitals were shared also. Application of location markers in railways and public transport was presented. Experiences
of warehouse implementation was shared. At the end of the talk, it was announced that a rental service of mobile UHF RFID reader is offered to the users interested in deploying RFID solutions. Feel free to contact us for further details.
